Meet Owner and Attorney, Ruth P. George

Ruth P. George is a Buffalo native and graduated from SUNY Buffalo before heading to UB Law where she was awarded both the Edwin F. Jaeckle Public Service Fellow and the Deans Public Service Fellow awards. After practicing for almost two decades in the Buffalo and Western New York area in estate law and probate, Ruth branched out on her own, creating Ruth P. George Law PLLC. By entering private practice, Ruth hoped (and has succeeded) in offering a more customized and caring approach to estate planning and probate than she was able to offer working for someone else. As a boutique law firm in Williamsville, New York, Ruth now offers the community specific guidance in estate planning, trusts, wills, and probate, and is able to dedicate the time necessary to truly unfold a thoughtful estate plan for her clients that considers every detail. Her own personal experiences with probate and estate planning pour into her recommendations for clients and allow her to make unique considerations for everyone she works with. Questions about how to plan for your own estate, or recently lost a loved one that needs an estate administered? Give us a call today to schedule your consultation to determine your needs and how we can help!

We aren't a Big Busy Law Firm.

Unlike a big, busy law firm, we aren't going to rush you. You aren't just a number to us - We take the time to get to know you, your unique situation, your family members, and your life goals. In all of these matters, there is more than meets the eye! We work hand in hand with every client, pay attention to every detail, and make sure to educate you on all the factors that can impact you and your loved ones.

Thorough is an Understatement.

No stone is left unturned when you're working with us. We want to know all the what-ifs so that we can help facilitate exactly what will happen. We also take the time to explain what we're doing and why because ultimately, your understanding of the little details will lead to a much smoother process for you and your family when the time comes for probate and estate administration.

We Focus on Family.

Planning your estate, or working through probate of a recently lost loved one is truly a family affair. We strive to work with the whole family, simplify communication, and make estate planning or probate a smooth process for everyone. We focus on family because that is ultimately who you want us to care about. It is always our promise and goal to treat your estate plan and your family as we would treat our own.

We do things the Right Way.

We know that all those online legal document companies offer the world to you at a fraction of the price, but when the time comes... Your trust, will, health care proxy, or other documents will be missing key information critical to your estate plan, or the documents themselves will be ineffective. We take the time and do things the right way so that there aren't any unpleasant surprises down the road.
